Al Fresco Fortnight has come to a close for another year and what a great couple of weeks it was! Obviously it wasn’t all beautiful sunshine – there were times here in Edinburgh when a gondola would have been more useful than a pergola – but that didn’t stop us from making the most of the event.
We spent as much time as we could outdoors, weather permitting, enjoying the longer evenings, with a little help from some solar lights, and redesigned our outdoor spaces after being inspired by Crocus Design and Chris Collins’ expert advice. We also enjoyed spoiling our dads with National Garden Gift Vouchers for Father’s Day – the best gift is the gift of choice!
We’re grateful to Kettler for being a fantastic sponsor and providing Al Fresco Fortnight with such inspiring content. Its Caffe Roma and Cortona ranges are perfect for any summer gathering, and we’re still trying to figure out if we can fit one of the extending mesh-top tables in the office…
One of the best parts of Al Fresco Fortnight is seeing how all of the Love Your Plot followers across social media celebrated the event and made the most of their outdoor space. We really enjoyed receiving all the pictures of the spectacular plots and spaces everyone had created.
Al Fresco Fortnight might be over, but the expert advice from industry-leading AFF contributors is still available on the Love Your Plot website alongside seasonal advice for any size of outdoor space. You can find useful advice in the guest blogs, inspiration on the Twitter and Facebook feeds, and handy life hacks in the special Love Your Plot films we have produced.
