After a glorious hot summer, autumn has definitely arrived in the Capital! Rather than let the weather get you down, we’ve pulled together a selection of four events taking place in Edinburgh during October and November that are sure to put a smile on your face!
This will be the fourth Coffee Festival and it takes place on 6th October at the Corn Exchange. The Festival will feature over 40 exhibitors comprising coffee, tea, food and drink companies. For more information or to buy tickets, check out the website here.
Running from 15th to 21st October, this year’s event will feature a Cocktail Village in Festival Square, masterclasses and events and parties across the city. Over 80 bars are also taking part and will be creating special cocktails for the week. What’s not to like? Wristbands are available online through the Eventbrite website here.
If you love watching short films, this is your chance to indulge yourself. With 26 UK premieres, 7 European ones and 28 award-winning short films, there’s plenty to choose from. Screenings are at Summerhall and Filmhouse from 26th October to 10th November inclusive. Tickets are available on the website.
Taking place on 17th and 18th November at the Corn Exchange, this will be second Cheese Fest. Featuring live cooking demonstrations, live bands and music all day, an outdoor hot food market and the UK’s biggest touring cheese festival, it’s not to be missed!
